Support the 3+3 B.A/J.D. Program

Support students like our 3+3 trailblazer, Liliana Garcia. Liliana is pictured here in the judge's chambers at Santa Cruz County Superior Court. In addition to scholarship support, the 3+3 program is also seeking legal professionals to offer mentorships, guidance, and internships to 3+3 students.

Give Online

Since its founding almost 50 years ago, UC Santa Cruz has been an incubator for new ways of thinking, new ways of learning, new ways of taking action in the world. The 3+3 partnership with UC Hastings is a new initiative to bring this mission to the fore.

Support is being sought to enhance our student experiences in the 3+3 program.

The most obvious ways to help are to give and to spread the word. Share your passion for UC Santa Cruz with others and consider how you can use your own philanthropy to support the impact of this bold, new program.

The 3+3 program is currently seeking:

Mentorship and Guidance
Help guide and mentor a 3+3 student. Inspire and prepare a 3+3 student to pursue a career in the legal field with personal and professional guidance.

Internship Opportunities
Help a 3+3 student gain the relevant work experience, competitive edge, and the specific skills needed to launch his or her professional career.

Scholarship Support
Help ensure that high-achieving students from all backgrounds and circumstances can take the steps needed to pursue law school. From LSAT prep classes, testing costs, and administrations fees, applying to law school can be prohibitive to our brightest pupils.

For any inquiries for financial support, please contact the Development Office at 831-459-3857.

Questions about how to offer an internship or mentorship should be directed to UCSC Politics Professor Jackie Gehring: jgehring@ucsc.edu.
